Business Solutions Officer
Sedeyia Bellamy joined CSBDF in 2023 to serve as a business solutions officer. She brings over 13 years of experience in the lending industry. Sedeyia holds a Master’s in business administration from Webster University and a B.S. in computer science from South Carolina State University.
Most recently, Sedeyia served as Loan Officer for a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) providing lending solutions to help start and expand small businesses, nonprofits, and affordable housing development. During her time there, she also served as a founding member and co-chair of the organizations’ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
Prior to her role as a loan officer, Sedeyia has served in multiple areas of lending including as a Certified HUD Housing Counselor. In this role, she provided comprehensive counseling to potential homebuyers. Through her counseling, she was able to assist low-to-moderate income individuals and minorities in overcoming financial roadblocks while finding affordable outcomes.
In the role of business solutions officer, Sedeyia will take the necessary initiatives to sustain and grow the organization’s lending portfolio. She will provide lending solutions and business assistance services to current and aspiring entrepreneurs in the Charlotte area.
