Meck Lending is a Mecklenburg County loan program offering favorable business loans and free assistance to help small business owners grow their business.

Qualification Requirements

Small businesses may qualify for the program if they meet the following conditions:

  • Business premises are physically located in Mecklenburg County.

  • Business has 50 or fewer full-time equivalent employees.

  • Have annual sales less than $2M

 

If you think you may qualify for this program, please review the documentation requirements on the right side of the page.

 

Submission of incomplete documents could delay the processing of your request.

Owner 
Documentation

Each individual with 20% or more ownership will be asked to provide:

  • 2-3 Years of Personal Tax Returns

  • Personal Financial Statement

  • Copy of Driver’s License (front and back)

Business Documentation

Applicants will be asked to provide the following business documents:

  • 2-3 Years of Business Tax Returns

  • Year-to-date Profit & Loss Statement

  • Year-to-date Balance Sheet

  • Current Business Bank Statement

  • Lease Agreement/Mortgage Statement

  • 1 Year of Cash Flow Projections Worksheet
