ADAM SAFER
Research & Evaluation Manager
Adam Safer joined CSBDF in 2023 to serve as the research & evaluation manager. In this role, he works with colleagues, board members, and organizational partners to highlight the roles played by small business owners within the context of community economic development and draws on data to improve program design, implementation, delivery, and outcome metrics at CSBDF and within the CDFI industry more broadly. Adam holds PhD and MA degrees in Sociology from Stony Brook University and a BA degree in Education Studies from the New School University. He has worked as an educator, marketing professional, and administrator for nonprofit organizations. Originally from Philadelphia, Adam enjoys basketball, reading, swimming, hiking, and spending time with his wife and their two cats.
