Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships
Amanda brings 10 years of experience in business development, micro lending, and workforce development. Prior to joining Carolina Small Business Development Fund, she was the Program Manager to a multimillion dollar project in the Dan River region focusing on workforce development and bettering the health and wellness to citizens within the region. Before that position, she was the Director of Entrepreneurship and Business Development with the NC Rural Economic Development Center. During her tenure at the Rural Center, she was in charge of the Microenterprise Loan Program. Amanda is originally from Waynesville, North Carolina and is a proud girl mom to Peyton and Alexandria and a fur mom to Bella and Marley. She obtained her MBA from Western Carolina University and her Bachelors in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
